COVID 19 – Update
During these uncertain times, the health and well being of everyone in our community is our top priority as we continue to monitor the Coronavirus (COVID-19)
Early in April, Ontario Soccer announced “all sanctioned in-person soccer events and activities for the month of May have been cancelled or postponed.” The Ontario Government and Norfolk County have also deemed our Park closed until further notice.
Recently, the Ontario Government has indicated that a return to play could take place in July. We are optimistic that a 2020 Outdoor season may actually happen. We are guided by the Government and Norfolk County.
Our Executive has been working hard behind the scenes in preparation for a 2020 season. Our uniforms and equipment have been ordered and as soon as allowed the facilities and fields will be lined to prepare for the hundreds of youth and spectators to enjoy.
We are determined to have a season as soon as we are able. We continue to monitor the situation. We appreciate your patience as we sort out what is best for our membership and most importantly in keeping our players safe and maintaining a positive soccer experience for all.
Presently, we are preparing to delay the start of the season until July and will assess the situation as required. We thank you for your understanding as we navigate through the uncertain times.
